  4. Abstract This study aimed to identify the reality of the Islamic finance to the small projects in Gaza strip and the main sources and ways of finance that might suit small projects in addition to the challenges that face the Islamic finance institutions and limit their spreading and effect in Gaza Strip . To achieve the aims of the study, the researcher used the descriptive-analytical approach and conducted a survey intended esp. for this purpose. He also used the Census method for the study sample represented in the Islamic financing institutions working in Gaza Strip, 50 surveys were distributed to the officials of the Islamic finance in those institutions. The most important results of the study are: All of these institutions depend in their work only on Murabahah and interest-free loan. The study also concludes that lacking a comprehensive system for small project financing is one of the obstacles that face the Islamic financing in addition to the unstable political, security, and economic conditions that resulted in being away from financing the small projects but by Murabahah. Furthermore, all of the Islamic financing institutions suffer from lacking a Sharia guide of financial transactions to ease their work, and they do pay much attention to the personal and ethical aspects of small project owners. The most important recommendations are: The necessity to establish a comprehensive database for the small facilities of the Islamic finance institutions that provide the required information for the Islamic finance institutions that fund small projects. The necessity to establish a unified Sharia guide of financial transactions to support the financing operation. The institutions should increase dealing with the various methods of Sharia financing that suit the small projects.
