1. Boursa Kuwait Weekly Report from 27 Feb . to 01 Mar. 2018 MARKET PERFORMANCE SUMMARY SECTORS' ACTIVITY Boursa Kuwait ended last week in the green zone. The Price Index closed at 6,807.90 points, up by 0.76% from the week before closing, the Weighted Index increased by 1.04% after closing at 414.42 points, whereas the KSX-15 Index closed at 957.33 points up by 0.92%. Furthermore, last week's average daily turnover increased by 18.55%, compared to the preceding week, reaching K.D 12.74 million, whereas trading volume average was 75.59 million shares, recording an increase of 22.14%. MARKET ACTIVITY The Banks sector dominated a total trade volume of around 91.07 million shares changing hands during last week, representing 40.16% of the total market trading volume. The Financial Services sector was second in terms of trading volume as the sector’s traded shares were 20.65% of last week’s total trading volume, with a total of around 46.84 million shares. On the other hand, the Banks sector’s stocks were the highest traded in terms of value; with a turnover of around K.D 21.78 million or 57% of last week’s total market trading value. The Industrial sector took the second place as the sector’s last week turnover was approx. K.D 5.05 million representing 13.21% of the total market trading value.
