1. Eligible for protection by PIDM TERMS AND CONDITIONS RHB GROW DEPOSIT CAMPAIGN 2017 1 . RHB Bank Berhad (Company No. 6171-M) and RHB Islamic Bank Berhad (Company No. 680329-V) will be referred to as “RHB”. CAMPAIGN PERIOD 2. RHB Grow Deposit Campaign (“the Campaign”) start from 1st September 2017 to 30th November 2017, both dates inclusive (“the Campaign Period”). ELIGIBILITY 3. The Campaign is open to a selected group of RHB Bank/RHB Islamic Bank customers, both residents and non-residents, including RHB Banking Group staff but excludes, commercial, corporate, sole proprietorships, partnerships, charitable/non-profit organizations, societies, schools and companies (“the Participant(s)”). 4. Only customers who receive the Short Message Service (“SMS”) & Electronic Direct Mail (eDM) invitation for this Campaign are eligible to participate. 5. The Participant(s) is required to make additional minimum CASA/-i placement of RM5000. The Campaign consists of deposits placement made by the Participant(s) during the Campaign Period in any Current or Savings accounts (“CASA”) of RHB Bank/RHB Islamic Bank. (The campaign does not involved products with Wadiah concept). 6. If Participant(s) have more than one (1) RHB CASA, then the combined balance of all accounts for which the Participant(s) is the Principal Account Holder shall be counted for the purposes of this Campaign. 7. Participant(s) is/are encouraged to call RHB Customer Service Centre @ 03-92068118 for queries and assistance on this campaign. REWARDS AND FULFILLMENT CONDITIONS 8. After the Campaign Period, the eligible Participant(s) will be rewarded as follows: Campaign Entry Criteria Every Average Deposit Incremental in the multiple of RM5,000 during the campaign period = ten (10) entries Reward Lucky draw (1 winner of Cash RM 50,000 to be given away) 9. CASA rate (%) is subject to the prevailing board rates of the respective CASA product type. 10. Further to clause 5, the eligible deposit placement to qualify for the Reward(s), the Participant(s) must meet the following requirements: 10.1. The Participant(s) is required to make additional minimum CASA/-i placement of RM5000. The required deposit amount must be placed into the Participating CASA : and 10.2. All deposit placements into the Participating CASA for the purpose of the Campaign must be made with new funds. 2. Eligible for protection by PIDM 11 . Reward is not awarded automatically to the Participant(s). The cash reward will only be credited into the winners participating CASA within four (4) weeks after RHB has identified, contacted and validated the winner. RHB will not be held responsible for any late fulfilment of the rewards. 12. Average deposit incremental balance is based on : Average Deposit Incremental Campaign Period average balance – End of day balance as at 22/08/2017 Campaign Period Average Balance Total of daily balance during Campaign Period Number of days during campaign period 13. RHB reserves the right to terminate or withdraw or substitute any of the Reward with those of similar value without any prior notice. 14. Participant(s) have the right to opt-out from the Program by Calling RHB Customer Care Centre at 039206 8118. 15. RHB reserves the right to remove the Participant(s) who has opted out from the Program. Those participant(s) who has opted out will not be entitled to rejoin the Program. 16. The prizes are non-transferable and non-negotiable. WINNER SELECTION PROCESS 17. The following is the selection process that will be adopted to determine the winners of this campaign. a) After the campaign end period, campaign entries earned will be calculated and potential winners will be shortlisted by RHB’s computerized random selection system b) At the point of crediting the rewards, the participating RHB account of the Participant(s) must not be closed and/or inactive; otherwise, the Participant(s) will be disqualified. c) The shortlisted participants will be contacted by RHB’s representative via the latest telephone number furnished to RHB as shown in RHB’s record at any time during office hours (9.00 am to 5.00 pm) on any working days from Monday to Friday. d) Should the first attempt to call the Shortlisted Participants fail, i.e. no reply, telephone number not in service or no connection, etc, another two (2) attempts will be made. Once the attempts are unsuccessful or the Shortlisted Participant is not agreeable to participate in the Campaign upon being contacted, the Shortlisted Participant will be deemed as disqualified and RHB has the right to select the next shortlisted participant from the same listing. e) RHB shall not be held liable in the event the Shortlisted Participant cannot be contacted for whatever reasons. f) Upon successful contact, the Shortlisted Participant will be deemed as a winner if she/he is able to answer one (1) question correctly and agree to accept the prize (“Winner(s)”). g) Should there be a case where a Shortlisted Participant is unable to answer the question correctly, she/he will be deemed disqualified and the next shortlisted participant from the same listing will be selected to answer the question. h) The calls will be made only to principal accountholders of CASA/-i. 18. 3. Eligible for protection by PIDM GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS 19 . RHB reserves the right to publish or display the name and photograph of the Participant(s) who has/have been selected to receive the Reward for this Campaign for advertising and publicity purposes. By participating in this Campaign, the Participant(s) hereby consent to and agree that RHB shall be at liberty to publish their names and photograph without compensation for advertising and publicity purposes. 20. RHB shall not be held liable for any mishaps, injuries or accidents that may occur in the usage of the Reward received under this Campaign. 21. RHB reserve the right to add, delete, suspend or vary the Terms and Conditions contained herein, either wholly or in part, at RHB’s discretion by way of posting on RHB’s website, or in any manner deemed suitable by RHB at any time with twenty-one (21) calendar days’ prior notice. 22. The amended Terms and Conditions shall prevail over any provisions or representations contained in any other promotional materials advertising this Program. 23. RHB shall not be liable for any default due to any act of God, war, riot, strike, terrorism, epidemic, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, storm or any event beyond the reasonable control of RHB. 24. The Participant(s) shall be personally responsible for all taxes, rates, government fees or any other charges that may be levied against them under applicable laws, if any, in relation to this Program. 25.
