Menguatnya mayoritas indeks di bursa eropa, naiknya hampir semua harga komoditas seiring diperlonggarnya aktivitas ekonomi di China setelah sebelumnya dilakukan pengetatan Sektoral Index Pada perdagangan hari ini indeks harga saham gabungan hampir untuk menekan angka covid19 dan aksi rebalancing yang terjadi di pasar menjadi sentimen positif yang mendorong penguatan indeks tersebut. IHSG ditutup menguat +111 poin (+1,58%) pada level 7.149. Sektor energi dan sektor perindustrian yang mengalami kenaikan +44 poin (+2,55%) dan +29 poin (+2,30%) menjadi kontributor terbesar bagi penguatan indeks harga saham gabungan hari ini. Sementara itu investor asing membukukan pembelian bersih (foreign net buy) sebesar 4,3 triliun di pasar reguler. Nilai tukar rupiah terhadap dolar Amerika melemah -22 poin (-0,15%) pada level Rp14.578.
