Minister of Commerce will lead the business delegation from Pakistani side. The conference will provide an excellent opportunity to strengthen the bilateral trade cooperation for enhanced interaction between business communities of the two countries. Bahraini Companies working in Pakistan would also be encouraged to participate in this event. It is stated that Minister for Commerce of Pakistan held a meeting with H.E Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Bin Daij A1 Khalifa, Assistant Under-Secretary for Arab and Afro-Asian Affairs of Kingdom of Bahrain on 13^*^ July, 2016 in Ministry of Commerce. Apart from other issues the two sides agreed to organize the first Pakistan- Bahrain Business Opportunities Conference in Bahrain on 27^** September 2016. It was also decided that Bahraini Companies working in Pakistan would be encouraged to participate in the subject event. Specific sectors identified for the purpose, include Textile, Leather, Rice, Food, poultry, sports, pharmaceutical, surgical auto and other sectors. Minister for Commerce would lead the business delegation form Pakistani side. 3. It is requested that businessmen representing the aforementioned sectors maybe nominated for the subject conference by 20August, 2016.
