Sub-mudarabah

Definition of "Sub-mudarabah"

A form of mudarabah where a worker (mudarib) may advance goods or capital to a third party on the basis of mudarabah subject to the condition that the original owner of the capital allows such an arrangement specifically or has allowed an unconditional discretion to the mudarib. Thus, a second level mudarabah comes into being.
