As sharia banking industry Company in Indonesia who always care to serve the customers interest and improve Indonesia society economics trough the latest technology services system, BSM successfully maintains its existence as excellent and modern sharia bank. With Rahmatan lil alamin Islam principle, BSM always committed to fulfill stakeholders, customers and society expectations. In 2016, all BSM people united in strong commitment to continuously serving and developing nation. With spirit to keep serving, BSM continues the path of blessing. The picture of tree is inspired from Al-quran verse on the parable of good tree as quoted from Surah Ibrahim (14) verse 24-25 Allah presents an example, (making) a good word like a good tree, whose root is firmly fixed and its branches (high) in the sky, the tree produces its fruit all the time, by permission of its Lord. And Allah presents examples for the people that perhaps they will be reminded. - THEME CONTINUITY Annual Report theme continuity becomes matter to depict consistency of Annual Report . Below is the theme continuity within the last 4 (four) years (period of 2013-2016). 2014 2013 Stronger Fundamentals for Greater Indonesia PT Bank Syariah Mandiri | Annual Report 2016 2 BSM strengthened the fundamentals of the company to strengthen more of BSM’s steps in achieving the objectives of the company. BSM aimed to develop a better Indonesia, in the hope that Indonesia would be ready to be a leader of spiritual civilization in the future. Strengthen the Foundation, Sustainability Development BSM committed to become a company with sustainable development. Therefore, the foundation of spirit, objectives and goals of BSM become the roots that cannot be ignored, such fundamental elements results the corporate culture which become the working spirit, that brought BSM to be consistent in creating and contributing to Indonesia.
- 2016 2015 Spirit of Transformation to Win After strengthening the foundation to continue the sustainable growth as 2014 Annual Report theme , then in 2015 Annual Report, Bank decided the theme as “Spirit of Transformation to Win”. Grow with Quality Management in 2016 is committed to grow business with quality and sustainable. This theme was chosen after in 2015, BSM inserted Company’s transformation principles related to Corporate Plan 2016-2020 implementation. Grow with Quality was taken by maintaining business and operational process transparency in accordance with prevailing provisions including supervision on corporate governance aspects, prudentiality, legality, and sharia principles. With grow in quality, BSM was able to strengthening its contribution to nation’s economic development especially on society welfare improvement through bank business and also Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities.
