Central Bank of the UAE hosts its fifth Board of Directors Meeting for 2019 United Arab Emirates , Abu Dhabi Sunday 16th June 2019: ‫مجلس إدارة المصرف المركزي يعقد اجتماعـه‬ 2019 ‫الخامس لسـنة‬ ‫ يونيو‬16 ‫ األحد الموافق‬،‫ أبوظبي‬،‫اإلمارات العربية المتحدة‬ :2019 The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of ‫عقــدَ مجلـــس إدارة المصرف المركزي اجتماعـه‬ the UAE (CBUAE), held their fifth meeting for 13 ‫ صباح يوم الخميس الموافق‬2019 ‫الخامس لسـنة‬ 2019 on Thursday 13th June. The meeting hosted at CBUAE Head Office, took place under the ،‫ في مقر المصرف المركزي أبوظبي‬2019‫يونيو‬ ‫ رئيس مجلس‬،‫برئاســة معالي حارب مسعود الدرمكي‬ ‫ وحضر االجتماع معالـي عبد الرحمن صالح آل‬.‫اإلدارة‬ chairmanship of H.E. Abdulrahman ‫ خالد محمد ســــالم‬،‫ يونس حاجي الخوري‬:‫مجلـس اإلدارة‬ ‫بالعمى وخالـد أحمد الطايــر وعلي محمد المداوي‬ Saleh Al Saleh, Deputy Chairman of the Board ‫ كما حضر االجتماع سعادة سيف هادف‬،‫الرميثي‬ and H. E. Mubarak Rashed Al Mansoori, the ‫ نائب المحافظ ومجموعـة من كبـار موظفي‬،‫الشامسي‬ Governor, and Board members including: Their Excellencies Younis Haji Al Khoori, Khaled Mohammed Salem Balama, Khalid Ahmad Al Tayer and Ali Mohammed Al Madawi Al Remeithi, Saif Hadef Al Shamsi, Deputy Governor and a group of senior CBUAE staff. 1 .‫المصرف المركـزي‬

The Board reviewed Quarterly Financial System "‫اطلع المجلس على "تقرير مراقبة النظام المالي الربعي‬ Surveillance Report for the Q1 2019, Macroprudential Stance Report for the Q1 2019 ‫ و"تقرير وضعية السالمة‬،2019 ‫عن الربع األول لسنة‬ and Report on 2019 top-down stress testing ‫ باإلضافة‬،2019 ‫االحترازية الكلية" للربع األول لسنة‬ results, presented by the Financial Stability Department. The reports covered developments ‫إلى تقرير حول نتائج اختبارات تح ّمل الضغط لسنة‬ with respect to the stability of the UAE banking ‫ وقد شملت‬.‫ المقدمة من دائرة االستقرار المالي‬،2019 and financial system. ‫التقارير المذكورة التطورات ذات الصلة باستقرار النظام‬ .‫المصرفي والمالي لدولة اإلمارات العربية المتحدة‬ The Board also reviewed Basel III- Pillar 2 ‫كما اطلع المجلس على نظام بشــــأن الدعامة الثانية‬ Standard on the Internal Capital Adequacy ‫ المعنية بعملية التقييم الداخلي لكفـــــــــاية‬3 - ‫لبـــــــــازل‬ Assessment Process carried out by banks, along ‫رأس المال التي تقوم بها البنوك وعملية المراجعـــة‬ with the Supervisory Review and Evaluation Process carried out by the Central Bank. The Board also reviewed a report on Corporate ،‫والتقييم التي سيقوم بها المصـــــــــرف المركـــــــــزي‬ ‫ وقرر اعتماد‬،‫وتقـــــــرير بشأن نظام حوكمة البنوك‬ .‫النظامين‬ Governance in Banks Regulation, and approved the regulations. The Board reviewed the Central Bank’s First ‫وأطلع المجلس على تقرير المصرف المركزي الربعي‬ Quarter Report for the year 2019, presented by the Research & Statistics Department.
