IBFS is a new society at the University of Oxford - we are following the City and the financial world in looking at alternative ways of investing and managing money. IBFS hopes to act as a platform for leading professionals in the field of Islamic banking to come and talk to and create relationships with the many students at Oxford aspiring to enter the world of finance and to make them aware of this rapidly growing sector. In this post-crisis era, and in the country that has become the western hub for Islamic finance, we feel that this is a great time and place to talk about Islamic Banking and Finance.
