Ghirarah
Definition of "Ghirarah"
A measure of volume used in Makkah of the Mamluk period (AD 1250–1517) for measuring grain. Equal to a range between 93.6 kg and 112.5kg. Precise information is not available. As a measure of weight, the Makkan ghirarah of the same period was in the range of 72.4–87 kg.
