Al-’amin al-‘amm
Definition of "Al-’amin al-‘amm"
A person who holds in trust property of another person, possession of which has been passed on to the trustee by the owner himself, but the principal objective of transfer is not safe custody. For example, a tenant who hires a house or a mudarib in a contract of mudarabah, etc. See also al-’amin al-khass.
