UAE Completes the First Phase of its e-Dirham System Transformation Program

The Ministry of Finance (MoF) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched the first phase of its e-Dirham program in the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Energy and Industry and several National Banks, according to media reports. The e-Dirham program, which provides a range of financial facilities to issue bank cards and digital transactions, is expected to be extended to include more Federal Government agencies and National Banks, according to a press release on the 13th of July 2020.
