Shariah Investment Banking Needed to Strengthen Indonesia’s Islamic Economic Ecosystem: KNEKS

The important need of Shariah investment banking to boost the development of Indonesia’s Islamic economic ecosystem was highlighted by the National Islamic Finance Committee (KNEKS) during the Indonesia Shariah Economic Festival 2020 International Webinar Series held on the 7th of October 2020.

According to Taufik Hidayat, Shariah Financial Services Director of KNEKS, Shariah investment banking served as a liaison for investors, corporations and the government, and played a vital role in providing essential services such as large-scale transactions, management of funds and allocation of funds in accordance with Shariah.
