Morocco’s Export Association Signs Agreement to Market Halal Products in Russia

Moroccan Association of Exporters, ASMEX, has signed an agreement with the Centre for Standardisation and Certification of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation and the Eurasian Development Fund in order to sell Moroccan Halal products in Russia, according to media reports.

The agreement, which was signed on the 13th of November 2020, is driven by emerging opportunities in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to ASMEX President, Hassan Sentissi.
