Analysis by KPMG in Saudi Arabia indicates a likely increase in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) across the Gulf Corporation Council (GCC) nations as struggling small and medium enterprises and large corporates alike seek equity injections to meet working capital requirements.
According to the Head of M&A at KPMG in Saudi Arabia, Ali Maabereh, the on-going COVID-19 virus has led to a strong sense of uncertainty due to the prolonged extent of the pandemic with the biggest anticipated threat to companies being liquidity shortages in.
