Ithmaar Bank Signs Agreement with Bahrain Bourse to Fast Track Murabahah Finances

Bahrain-based Islamic retail bank, Ithmaar Bank has signed an agreement with the Bahrain Bourse (BHB), enabling it to use Ijara Sukuk issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) as underlying assets to complete Murabahah Finances. This will be conducted through an online Shariah-compliant brokerage service introduced by BHB, according to an official statement issued by Ithmaar Bank on the 6th of April 2021.
