IsDB and WHO Collaborate with Yemen Government to Provide USD 36.6 Million COVID-19 Support Package

The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and the World Health Organization (WHO) are collaborating with Yemen’s Ministry of Health and Population and Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation to provide emergency COVID-19 support, according to a recent IsDB statement. The IsDB is providing a USD 36.6 million COVID-19 support package to Yemen, which includes USD 20 million in emergency support for the country’s health sector.
