Indonesia’s Retail Sukuk Series SR015 Raises IDR 27.0 Trillion; Largest Sales in Retail SBN History

According to a statement issued by the Director General of Financing and Risk Management on behalf of Indonesia’s Ministry of Finance on the 20th of September 2021, proceeds from the sale of Retail Sukuk Series SR015 reached IDR 27.001 trillion, after the end of the offering period spanning from the 20th of August 2021 to the 15th of September 2021.

Why it Matters?

The issuance of SR015 is part of the Government of Indonesia’s efforts to strengthen the domestic financial market and expand the domestic investor base, particularly that of retail investors.
