COVID-19: ADB and Bangladesh Government Signed USD 100 Million Financing Agreement

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Government of Bangladesh signed a USD 100 million loan agreement to support the country’s public health needs to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

The agreement was signed remotely by Secretary of the Economic Relations Division in Bangladesh, Fatima Yasmin and ADB Country Director, Manmohan Parkash on the 13th of May 2020. The agreement was initially approved on the 30th of April 2020, according to a media release from the ADB.
