Tawarruq: Appendices
The following verse of the Quran implies the general permissibility of sales contract including tawarruq:
وَأَحَلَّ اللّهُ الْبَيْعَ وَحَرَّمَ الرِّبَا
وَأَحَلَّ اللّهُ الْبَيْعَ وَحَرَّمَ الرِّبَا
“...whereas Allah SWT has permitted trading and forbidden usury...”
(Surah al-Baqarah, verse 275)
