Sheikh Mohsin Hussain Al-Asfoor

Sheikh Mohsin Hussain Al-Asfoor is a well-known and highly respected Shariah scholar from the Kingdom of Bahrain. In addition to his membership on the Ithmaar Bank Shariah Advisory Board, he serves on the Shariah Advisory Boards of both Solidarity Insurance and was previously a judge at the Supreme Shariah Court of Appeal (Jaafari). Sheikh Al-Asfoor is a member of Curriculum Development at the Jaafari Religious Institute as well as the Shariah Board of the International Islamic Rating Agency of the Islamic Development Bank. Sheikh Mohsin Hussain Al-Asfoor has authored over 100 manuscripts covering different Islamic aspects and financial matters, and more than 60 books on Islamic Shariah, and is currently the Chairman of the Science Research Pool Organisation.
