Prof Dr Abdul Rahim Abdul Rahman
Dr Abdul Rahim is a Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Muamalat, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). He is currently the Director of Corporate Planning and Quality Management at USIM. He is also the Chief Editor for the Journal of Muamalat and Islamic Finance Research (JMIFR) published by USIM. Currently, Dr Abdul Rahim is a member of Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia’s (JAKIM) Muamalat Panel of Experts. He is also a member of the Shariah Committee for Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia and Etiqa Takaful. He is actively involved in teaching, research, and consultancy on Islamic Finance, Islamic Accounting, Ethics and Governance, and Shariah Audit. He has published 3 books, and more than 40 papers in academic journals and chapters in books.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of East London, and Master’s Degree in Accounting and Management Sciences, and PhD in Accounting in Islamic Institutions from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom.
