Dr Mohammed Abdul Hakeem Zoeir

Dr Mohammed Abdul Hakeem Zoeir has had a career in modern Islamic Finance for more than 25 years, sitting on several Shariah Advisory Boards in the finance, banking, and advisory industry. Dr Zoeir is also a lecturer at the Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies as well as other universities across the UAE. Dr Zoeir is a member of various Shariah Advisory Boards including Aseel Finance, and Dubai Islamic Bank. He has authored numerous research papers on Islamic Finance and Banking. He is the Chief Editor of the Islamic Economics Magazine and has published a number of research papers on Islamic Finance: "Role of Shariah Supervision in Developing Islamic Banking", "Relationship Between Shariah and Financial Supervision", "Islamic Banks and Traditional Banks (Comparative Study)", "Monotheism as the Base of Economic Activity", and "Islamic Banks, Theory and Practice."
