Menguatnya indeks di bursa wall street seiring adanya aksi beli investor di saham teknologi berhasil menjadi sentimen positif di pasar. Sementara itu terkoreksinya saham teknologi berkapitalisasi besar menjelang pengumuman BI7DRR oleh Bank Indonesia dan melemahnya beberapa harga komoditas seperti timah, emas, serta minyak mentah menjadi sentimen negatif yang menekan indeks. IHSG ditutup melemah -11 poin (-0,15%) pada level 6.864.
