Dipertahankannya tingkat suku bunga the Fed di level 1,75%-2% serta menguatnya harga saham komoditas berbasis CPO seiring dengan penerapan kebijakan B20 yang mewajibkan campuran 20% bahan bakar biodiesel dalam solar menjadi katalis positif di pasar. Di sisi lain Presiden Donald Trump yang mengancam untuk menaikkan tarif impor produk China senilai US$200 miliar menjadi 25% dari sebelumnya 10% menjadi sentimen negatif untuk indeks. IHSG ditutup melemah -21 poin (-0,36%) di level 6.011. Sektor aneka industri dan tambang yang masing-masing terkoreksi -25 poin (-1,97%) dan -28 poin (-1,34%) menjadi penekan utama pergerakan indeks hari ini. Nilai tukar rupiah diperdagangkan melemah -38 poin (-0,26%) di level 14.478. Investor asing masih mencatatkan beli bersih (foreign net buy) sebesar 154,7B di pasar reguler.
