Definition of "Istirdad"

Lit: Reclamation, claim of restitution. Tech: Right of a person to claim back anything which originally belonged to him, if the other person took it either through an optional sale (bai bil khiyar), or by a defective contract of mudarabah, wadi ah, hibah or another unlawful manner.
