Definition of "Urud al-tijarah"
Lit: Goods for sale. Tech: Relating to the law of zakah, it refers to assets manufactured or purchased for making a profit by reselling them. They are subject to zakah. They are distinct from ‘urud al- qinyah which are kept for personal or business needs of the owner. They are exempt from zakah.
