Definition of "Al Muqasamah"

Lit: Partnership. Tech: A contract of partnership to till land for sharing the produce. The classical example is that of the Prophet’s contract with the Jews of Khaiber. He concluded an agreement with the Jews for sharing the produce of the land, retaining them as tillers on the land.
