Definition of "Al-manfa‘h"

Lit: Advantage, yield. Tech: Relating to the institution of waqf, it is usufruct of the trust for the beneficiaries. In case of fai’ lands, that were a trust of the Muslims, the peasants were entitled to the manfa’h of the lands on payment of rent (kharaj).
