Al-hima

Definition of "Al-hima"

Lit: Grazing lands for the cattle. Tech: Those pieces of land which are meant for grazing of the state cattle. On this land, individual ownership is not permitted. The Islamic state has an inherent right to declare any remote or commonly used meadow as al-hima, but the state cannot appropriate any individual’s private property for this purpose.
