Islamic Stocks Dominate with 63% of Total Shares Listed in August 2020: Indonesia Stock Exchange

The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has reported that Islamic shares dominated with 63% of total shares listed on the Indonesian capital market in August 2020, according to Inarno Djajadi, President Director of IDX, in a recent press statement released after virtually accepting the 2020 Best Islamic Capital Market Award from Global Islamic Finance Awards.

Djajadi noted that the IDX had obtained several achievements in the Islamic capital market industry, successfully recording growth amid the uncertainty brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
