Aksi jual investor asing serta turunnya beberapa harga komoditas seperti CPO dan timah menjadi sentimen negatif di pasar. Sementara itu menguatnya indeks bursa global dan regional seiring dengan pernyataan The Fed yang mengisyaratkan tidak akan menaikkan suku bunga acuannya pada tahun 2020 menjadi katalis positif bagi indeks. IHSG ditutup melemah -40 poin (-0,66%) pada level 6.139. Sektor properti dan infrastruktur yang masing-masing turun -7 poin (-1,53%) dan -14 poin (-1,32%) menjadi sektor yang memimpin pelemahan indeks hari ini. Nilai tukar rupiah terhadap dolar Amerika diperdagangkan menguat tipis +5 poin (+0,04%) pada level Rp14.032. Investor asing membukukan penjualan bersih (foreign net sell) sebesar Rp188,99 miliar di pasar reguler.
