Cabinet appoints new ASEZA chief, fills tops gov’t positions The Cabinet on Wednesday appointed Nayef Bakhit as the new president of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone (ASEZA), replacing Nasser Shraideh, who tendered his resignation earlier, a Prime Ministry statement said.The statement quoted Prime Minister Omar Razzaz as underlining the significance of Aqaba as a tourist destination and an economic hub that supports national economy and serves as a stimulator of economic growth and job generation.
